James Phillip Rome is an American sports radio presenter. His talk show, The Jim Rome Show, was broadcast by CBS Sports Radio. Broadcasting from a studio near Los Angeles, California, Rome hosts the Jim Rome Show on the radio. For several years, Rome hosted a TV show Jim Rome Is Burning, which aired on ESPN in the US and TSN2 in Canada. In 2011, Rome ended his relationship with ESPN to join the CBS network where he hosted his own program, as well as an interview-style program on the Showtime channel. His previous hosting jobs include Talk2 sports talk shows, The FX Sports Show, and The Last Word. The Jim Rome Show is ranked the 21st most listened to radio show in the United States and Rome is the 29th most influential radio personality according to Talkers Magazine. From April 2012 to March 2015, Rome hosted a sports talk show on CBS Sports Network called Rome.
